Zach Curtis
Licensed Funeral Director, Owner/Manager
Zach is a licensed funeral director and certified crematory operator in the state of Tennessee. He has been with Dogwood Cremation since 2017. Zach graduated from Pellissippi State Community College in 2017, receiving his associate's of general science. He later went to John A Gupton College for Mortuary Science and graduated in 2021. Zach is committed to serving customers and his community. He knows people come to him during a difficult and dark time and is grateful that they choose to rely on Dogwood Cremation for their services. Zach is an active member in his local church and loves to spread the love of Christ any chance he gets. In his spare time, he likes to play video games, drive his Corvette, and spend time with his family.
Melissa Eagan
Licensed Funeral Director, Crematory Manager
Melissa is a licensed funeral director, and certified as a crematory operator in Tennessee. She joined the team at Dogwood Cremation LLC in 2020 and is a graduate of John A. Gupton College in Nashville, TN. She has a passion for serving families after the loss of loved ones with professional cremation services. When she's not working, Melissa spends time with her husband, Pete, and enjoys hiking, fishing, and gardening.
The History of Dogwood
Dogwood Cremation, LLC was founded in 2012 as a direct cremation option for customers who don’t want to go through a traditional funeral service. We started as a small family-owned operation and continue on with those same values and principles laid at our foundation as we grow to accommodate more and more clients. We provide affordable and compassionate service to anyone in the greater Knoxville area.
