Charles “Bud” Patterson, 76, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed peacefully in his home on Sunday, October 18, 2020. He was a talented upholsterer, a storyteller, and a former Marine who loved life, family, and friends and will be sadly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Patterson; mother, Mary Patterson; sister, Joyce Shoffner; and brothers, Tom Patterson, Jr., Ray Patterson and Bill Patterson. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Carolyn Taylor Patterson; daughters, Beth (Kevin) Walters, Angie Moore, and Wanda (Matt) Turpin; grandchildren, Kristen Walters, Alivia (Chris) Duncan, Alex Moore, Jason Moore, Gabriella (Josh) McCracken, Blake Turpin, and Abigail Turpin; great grandchildren, Raelyn Lewis, Christian Duncan, Logan Duncan, Samuel McCracken and Everleigh McCracken; sisters, Wanda Horner and Anna Collins; brother in law, James Horner and sister in law, Frances Patterson, and many nieces, nephews and friends that were considered family.
