Harriet Hough

Harriet Hough went peacefully to be with the Lord on October 3, 2025 at the age of 98. Harriet was preceded in death by her daughters Sherri Hough and Karen Murphy, her mother Gertrude Campbell, her father James Bailey, and her sister Nina Bailey Pollard. Harriet is survived by her beloved nephew Kevin Woods(Emma), great niece Alexa Woods, great nephew Keir Woods, granddaughters Rachel Smith and Christa Dagnese, grandson Brian Knight, goddaughter and care giver Kimberly Graves, and dear friend Debbie Moody.

Harriet was a member of Trentville United Methodist Church. Harriet was also a member of the American Legion post 2 in which she was very active. Harriet delivered flags to the Veteran’s Cemetery on Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day. She delivered wreaths on Christmas and participated in the annual Veteran’s Parade. Harriet was a wonderful cook and made delicious dishes foe all the lunches and dinners at the post. Harriet had a passion for antiques. You could always find her booth at the flea market. Harriet was a huge UT fan, whether it was football, men’s and women’s basketball, or softball, you could always find her watching all the games dressed head to toe in Big Orange.

Harriet was a caretaker for many people. she cared for them in their homes , hospitals, and nursing homes into her 80’s. Harriet would sit with them ,cook, clean ,bathe, and do whatever was needed.

Harriet will be missed.
