Joan Lois Stahl, 87, went to be with her loving husband, Charles Henry Stahl (Fred), at their new home in heaven. Joan was born in Indianapolis, IN, on September 19, 1930, to Evan and Anna Piers. She was one of 12 children, all deceased. Joan was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred, whom she had a life with in Chesterton, IN. There, Joan was a part of the federated Junior Women’s Club and helped found the Federated Phillies. Joan also earned her real estate license and worked for Harley Snyder and Caldwell Banker for a number of years.
Joan is survived by her daughters, Carol Jean (Larry) McCullough and Sue Ann Bradford. Six grandchildren: Steven (Julie) McCullough, Scott (Cindy) McCullough, Tara (Steven) Howell, Adam (Jen) Bradford, Brent (Holly) Bradford, and Curt Bradford. And numerous great-grandchildren.
A mass will be held at St. Patrick’s in Chesterton, IN, on November 18 at 10:00 am.
