Nicole Lynette “Lindzee” Lindholm, 50, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on April 25, 2026, at the Select Specialty Hospital in Powell, Tennessee from respiratory failure. She was born on September 14, 1975, in Peoria, Illinois to Harold and Nancy (Weber) Lindholm.
Nicole grew up in Peoria, Illinois and graduated in 1993 from Richwoods High School. She earned her B.A. in Music from Valparaiso University in 1998. She earned her M.A. in Psychology from Fuller Seminary in 2005, and a M.A. in Christian Leadership in 2008, with an emphasis in youth, family and culture, also from Fuller Seminary. She studied law at Novus Law School. She loved learning, was a student of God’s Word and had a passion to teach and disciple others.
Nicole’s career path ranged from teaching English as a second language, to customer service, and most recently as a case manager for Easterseals, providing quality programs and services for children and adults with disabilities. In her desire to serve others, she had a variety of volunteer roles advocating for social justice, integrity, and heart-centered leaders like the International Institute for Global Leadership. She also used her gifts as an online Bible teacher, devotional writer, and counselor.
She developed a love for music early in life and excelled at the bassoon. Throughout high school she played in band, jazz band, the Central Illinois Youth Symphony, the Quad Cities Youth Symphony, and played first bassoon in the Central Illinois Concert Orchestra. Among her other interests were God’s creation, the great outdoors, and her pets.
Nicole is survived by her sister Lisa, two nephews, one niece, and a loving extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents. Nicole leaves behind a legacy of faith in Jesus and a passion for learning, creativity, and service to others.
Memorial services will be held on May 22,2026 at Trinity Methodist Church, 425 Wilder Street, Morristown, TN at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be given to Trinity Methodist Church, Abundant Hope or Easterseals.
