Below is a broken down list of the total cost. All prices are subject to change.

Base Services $645

This fee is for the basic services of our funeral staff.

$645 Transfer of Remains $345

Transportation is within a 25 mile radius of Dogwood Cremation, LLC. Excess Mileage is $2.50/mile one way.

$345 Crematory Fee $310

The minimum cremation fee of $310 covers the crematory’s expenses. If the deceased is over 300 pounds, then the crematory fee is $1/pound.

$310 Cremation Permit $25

This is the State of Tennessee filing fee for the cremation.

$25 Alternative Container $35

This is the container that the deceased is placed in for the cremation.

$35 Tax on Container $3.24

Tax is only applied to the alternative container, customers do NOT pay tax on our services, only their selected merchandise.

$3.24 Possible Additional Charges

Death Certificates are $15 a piece. We provide 1, and Veterans get 3 free.Overweight charges will occur for decedents over 300 pounds.Newspaper obituary if you choose. We will place one on our website for free.Mailing of Ashes $100
