God called home Thomas “Tommy” Eugene Barger, 46, on July 18, 2017, at 9:24 am at Physician’s Regional Medical Center. Tommy had such a big heart and a smile for everyone. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Preceded in death by his father, Fred William Barger; grandparents, James Ralph and Betty Kirkland, and Bill and Laura Barger.
Survivors include his mother, Barbara Long and step-father Billy Long of Powell; sister, Cherri (Homer) Russell of Corryton; step-sister, April Sikes of Lawrence, Kansas; nephews, Michael (Kaydee) Rowe and Matthew (Lindsey) Rowe; great-nephews Skyler and Ryland Rowe; great-niece, Saydee Rowe, which he loved with all of his heart; and Fiance, Gwendolyn Peake of Powell.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
