Vaughn W. Brewer, 76, of Strawberry Plains TN, earned his wings on Saturday, December 6, 2025, after a brief battle with cancer.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
He is preceded in death by his father Joel Lee Brewer, mother Pauline (McGinnis) Suffridge, wife Candace (Lane) Brewer, daughter Alisha, and brothers Jay and Michael Brewer.
Survivors; daughter Kristi Harris (Rick), Weslyn Brewer (Harry), Tara/Sherry McMahan (Michael), sisters Brenda Lane and Denise Clabough (David), brothers Homer Lynn Brewer (Diane), Swan Brewer (Cindy), and Charles Brewer (Shirley). Grandchildren Nikki Perry (Michael), Kristinia Wolfenbarger (Frank), David Allen Price, III (deceased), Cody Cox, Caleb Cox, Wesley Cox (Stephanie), Devin Ludeking, Taliah Ludeking, and Demi McMahan, and several great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life will be held on January 5th (his birthday) at New Harvest Community Center, located at 4775 New Harvest Ln, Knoxville, TN 37918, 5:00pm – 8:00pm.
Interment services will be held January 6, 2026, at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, located at 2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920, at 12:30 PM.
