Wanda “Tuffy” Manis Clark, 73, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026.

Born on September 13, 1952, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, Wanda was the daughter of Bob and Jimmie Manis. She was raised in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, where she developed a lifelong love of bowling.

Known for her competitive spirit, infectious personality, and ability to make friends wherever she went, Wanda became a familiar face throughout the Oak Ridge community.

Later, she dedicated her career to caring for others at Methodist Medical Center, serving as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Anesthesia Technician for more than a decade before retiring.

Wanda had a servant’s heart and remained active in her community through the pantry ministry at West Village Christian Church, where she faithfully helped provide for those in need. She valued friendship, family, and faith, and she touched the lives of many through her kindness, humor, and generosity.

She is survived by her daughter, Jimmye Chapman and husband Casey Chapman; her beloved grandchildren, Sam, Seeley, and Sloane Chapman; her sister, Nancy Lay; and her brother, Bobby Manis; and special friend, Chrystal Williams & best puppy pal, Rocky.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Jimmie Manis.
