Anthony K. McMahan Sr., Born April 19, 1961. Went home to be with his late wife, Vanessa “Cricket”,  son Charles ” Robby,” and his Father, Robert ” Bob” McMahan on July 26, 2018.   Tony was a Loving and caring son, brother, father, and friend.

Anthony is survived by his Mother, Pat Bennett; Brother Gregg McMahan; Sisters Heather McMahan and Kim Nolan; Son Tony Jr.; Daughter Krystal Gueterrez; 10 Grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren,  4 nieces, 4 Nephews, 6 great nephews, and 3 great nieces.

Rest in peace, dear Brother, until we meet again on those peaceful shores. We will love and miss you always.

Melvin Kenwood Moyer, known to friends as “Chip,” passed away on July 27, 2018, at the age of 72.

Born July 19, 1946, Chip was a native of Cisco, IL. He is the Son of Geraldine Scoles and George Moyer. In 1966, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and became a Naval Air-Crewman (NAC) Hospital Corpsman serving in the Vietnam War.  Stations included Naval Hospital Bethesda, Marine Air Wing-12, Marine Amphibious Brigade (9th MAB), Marine Air Base Squadron-15 (MAB), and Camp Lejeune Naval Hospital.

In 1969, he married Karen Jean Brace and began his career with Sears, Roebuck and Co. Positions held included: Operations Manager, Kokomo, IN; Assistant Manager, Jacksonville, IL; Operations Manager, Springdale, OH; and District Manager, Southern Ohio. In 1992, after a successful career with Sears, Chip became Store Manager of Furniture Direct and Knoxville Wholesale Furniture Co. of Knoxville, TN.

In 2001, Chip served the  Fellowship Evangelical Free Church of Knoxville, TN, as a Facilities Manager, which was one of the most rewarding jobs participating in local and global mission initiatives including: Habitat for Humanity, Home Repair Team, and building team supporting a church in Mexico.

Chip loved to travel and was very fortunate to experience traveling with family in Botswana, Africa; Zambia, Africa; Vietnam; Japan; Canada and RV’ing the lower 48 states and Alaska. One of his favorite memories was Canada “fly in” fishing trips and RV’ing in Alaska. He always loved to see nature.

Chip was extremely well-liked by his contemporaries. He had a rare knack for getting along with everyone. He was considerate of others, displayed a good sense of humor, and was consistently friendly. Throughout the year’s people consistently commented about how he always was so “optimistic” and had a “positive attitude” even when the going got tuff.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Karen Brace Moyer of Mishoppen, PA, brother Eugene “Gene” Moyer of Decatur, IL, son Randolph “Randy” Scott Moyer and wife Anne, Leonardtown MD; daughter Heidi Rachquel Moyer Breeden and husband Jason, Maryville, TN; daughter Michele Moyer Royce and husband Jeff, Zambia, Africa; and son Mark Kenwood Moyer and wife Jaime, LaFollette, TN, and 11 grandchildren.

A Memorial Service for Chip will be held 6:30-7:45 pm, 4 August 2018, at the Fellowship Evangelical Free Church of Knoxville, 8000 Middlebrook Pike, Knoxville, TN 37909.

Kimberly Ann (Kasey) Courtney went to meet her Lord and Savior on August 15, 2018, after a motorcycle accident.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her Grandparents Thomas and Bernice Courtney, Roy and Vera Ball.

She is survived by her son Tanner Norton, her Fiancé Bill Floyd, parents Mr. and Mrs Ronald Courtney (Bonnie), sister Rhonda Courtney, brothers Michael Courtney, Ron Courtney Jr. & Wife Tina Courtney, Aunt Betty Courtney, Uncle Roy Ball Jr and Wife Darlene, and several nieces and Nephews.

Kimberly was a loving Mother, Daughter, Sister, and friend to many and will be greatly missed.

The family would like to thank the staff at UT Medical Trauma ICU for their exceptional effort and care during this crisis. The family has chosen a private memorial at this time. Thanks for your continued prayers.

Stephen O. McNeeley, age 66, died on Sunday, September 9th, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. He passed away after a 2-year struggle with several health issues. He was born in LaFollette, TN, on September 14, 1951, to Clifford E.(Tip) McNeeley and Jessie P. McNeeley.

It is with great sadness that the family of Keith Eugene Hoschouer announces his passing, after a lengthy illness, on Sunday evening, September 16, 2018, at his residence in Clinton, Tennessee.

Keith was born January 31, 1946, to the late Mary Agnes (Ross) Hoschouer and Ernest J. Hoschouer in Rossburg, Ohio. He was raised by his mother and Aunt Esther Ellen Ross until he enlisted in the Army, where he served in the Dominican Republic.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents; Aunt Esther; brothers, Forest Dale & Marvin Hoschouer; sisters, Virginia Mae Fields and Janice Lynnette Fields. He has one surviving brother, Loren Duane (Barbara) Hoschouer.

Keith Left behind, to cherish his memory, two sons, Randy Alan and Brian Lee Broomhall; grandchildren, Amy Marie (Broomhall) Hicks and special friend, Joe Campbell, Brandy JoAnn (Broomhall) Vann and fiancé, Mackenzey Longmire, Corey Michael and Kyle Alan (Amie) Broomhall, Nicholas Tyler and Mackenzie Paige Broomhall; great grandchildren, Deana Nichole, Nathan Gage and Bryson Alex Vann, Keirria Marie and Aaliyah Nevaeh Hicks; numerous nieces and nephews and many, many friends.

A celebration of Keith’s life will be held in the future in Greenville, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be given to defray funeral expenses.

Brenda Kay Estes, 60, of Knoxville, TN, passed away on September 29, 2018, at Tennova Hospital with family by her side. She was born July 1, 1958, and attended Jefferson County High School. Her greatest joys were her two dogs (Maggie and Baby Girl), her daughter, and her grandbaby.

Lenora Medlin, 67, of Hodges, SC, passed away at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, TN, on 09/29/2018. She leaves behind her husband, Hank Medlin; three children, Maria, Hank Jr., and Casey Merlin; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Priscilla E Simmons, age 68, was welcomed into heaven by the angels to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 14, 2018, at her residence, surrounded by loved ones. Priscilla was born in Lake City, SC, to the parents of the late Cliff and Irasea Graham Epps. Priscilla was a strong woman of faith with a passionate soul for God. Priscilla, lovingly known as Mother Simmons, was a member of New Trinity Tabernacle COGIC. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her loving daughters, Ms. Della Epps of Augusta, GA and Ms. Michelle Simmons of Corryton, TN; five grandchildren, TiQuasia Simmons, Quashawn Simmons and Jaden Essie, Ebony Epps and Richmond Hardge; one great-grandchild, Emani Brown; three sisters, Mrs. Della (Elmond) Brown of Lake City, SC, Mrs. Magalene Rush of Scranton, SC, and Ms. Sandra Gaskins of Virginia Beach, VA; one brother, Mr. Charles (Andie) Epps of Pembroke Pines, FL; one sister-in-law, Ms. Beverly King, Brentwood, Maryland; mother-in-law, Mrs. Dora Dickson of Lake City SC; one brother-in-law, Jerome (Lucine) Dickson of Lake City, SC; and a host of adoring nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

Her life will be celebrated at 1 pm on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at New Trinity Tabernacle COGIC, 2615 Washington Ave, Knoxville, Tennessee.

Elizabeth Mahoney passed away on October 15, 2018, at Island Home Park with her son and Ex-husband at her side. She was 75 years old and had been in poor heath for the past few years. She leaves behind two sons, Ty Mahoney, Chris Mahoney, and her ex-husband, Steve Mahoney, along with her sister, Darrelyn Turnner.

Roger L. Noe, 60, of Knoxville, TN, passed away on October 17, 2018. He was born on November 2, 1957, and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and the 844th ENBN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marie Noe; twin brother, Rodney; and sister, Teresa Lytle.

Survivors include brother, Craig (Linda) Noe; sister, Janet (Dan) Myers; numerous nieces and nephews; and fur babies, Sockatees and Ninja.

There will be a graveside service at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy) on Monday, November 19, 2018, at 2:00 pm, with the Steps House Chaplain officiating.

Flora “Janelle” Kelley-Carver, 68, of Meads Quarry Community, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, October 19, 2018, at the home of her children.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charlie and Flora Bell Johnson, and John and Ellen Kelley Sr.; parents, John and Lela Kelley Jr.

She is survived by her bestfriend and lifelong soulmate Ernest “Buster” Carver Jr.; children, Kelly and Thomas Walters, Ernest “Buster” and Kathy Carver III; sister, whom she raised as her own, Melissa “Renae” and Tim Goodson; grandchildren, Jesse, Dalton, and Brandon Walters, Lela Carver, Kristian and Dylan Tapp, John and Cassie Goodson, and Emily Brown; and great-grandson, Leland Brown.

Janelle’s celebration of life will take place Monday, October 29, 2018, at 6:00 pm at Island Home Baptist Church located at 2323 Island Home Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37920, with Reverend Jimmy Hensley and Chris Yarbrough officiating.

Frances Evalene Lamb, age 69, was called Home on November 19th, 2018. Frances retired after 25 years of loyal service to Terminix Pest Control. She was a loving Mother and Wife who gave freely from a genuinely amazing soul.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Lilly Beeler; brothers Ronnie and Ricky Beeler; Husband Ronnie Lamb; and daughter Ashley.

She is survived by sister, Linda Levy; brothers Wayne (Connie) and Roger (Shirley) Beeler; Sons Jason (Tuesday) and Justin; and granddaughter Emery Lamb, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

The family will gather in the fellowship hall of Olivet Baptist on November 26th from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude’s.
