Daniel Lee Hoffeditz, age 69, was reunited with the love of his life and wife of 30 years, Denice
Maria Hoffeditz, on July 13, 2026. He was the son of Melvin and June Hoffeditz. Dan leaves
behind his children: Christina Lee and Bryan Oehler; Nathaniel Lee Hoffeditz; Austin Lee Blake
Hoffeditz; and Danielle Joy-Marie and Anthony Singler. His grandsons, Ryker William Oehler,
Easton Kyle Oehler, and Connor Wrigley Singler, were his pride and joys.
He is survived by his siblings, Judy (Larry) Secrest, Paulette (Paul) Sumpter, Rita (Johnny)
Smith, Gary (Sue) Hoffeditz, and Brian (Becky) Hoffeditz. Dan deeply loved his nieces and
nephews and was a dear friend to many.
Dan is also survived by his cherished and devoted partner, Nina Shoemaker, and her children,
Dave Shoemaker, Ashley (Stephen) Cambron, and grandchildren Wyatt, Henry, and Miles. Dan
loved them all as if they were his very own.
Dan was his absolute happiest spending time with his family, laughing with his brothers, building
his dream home, and driving his Corvette. Dan’s legacy of hard work can be seen all over the
Tri-State area. From porches and decks to completely remodeled homes, the work he did with
his business partner, Kevin Davis, who he loved as another son, displayed his incredible
craftsmanship. He was also able to beautify homes with Denice up until the end of her life,
including the house his family continues to live in today.
The family invites Dan’s loved ones to join them at Gap Creek Coffee House on Saturday,
August 1st, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. to gather and share memories of Dan.
