Jacob A. Edwards

Jacob Ashley Edwards, 48, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 13 2023 at UT Medical Center surrounded by family and friends. Jake was born September 17 1975 in Lake Worth Florida and was a graduate of Heritage High School.

Jake spent most of his working life driving – tractor trailers, wreckers… anything with wheels. Once he was forced to medically retire that love moved to Jeeping. He loved exploring new trails and conquering the challenges they presented while helping others overcome their fears and grow. He loved to be on the go almost as much as he loved helping others.

Jake leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife of 29 years, Samantha; his parents Jerry & Donna Edwards; sisters Kathy Edwards and Helen Phinney as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces/nephews and a host of friends he considered his family.

The hole left by Jake’s passing can never be filled, but friends and family are comforted knowing he had such a huge impact on those who met him.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date once arrangements are completed.

Until we meet again, have fun exploring and mapping out the trails in Heaven, MudDawg. We can’t wait to Jeep with you again.
