Kayla Augenfeld

Licensed Funeral Director, Manager

Kayla has been with Dogwood Cremation LLC since 2013 and is a licensed funeral director in Tennessee. She has an associate degree in mortuary science from John A. Gupton College in Nashville, TN. She graduated in 2012. For Kayla, it's about helping people make decisions to honor their loved ones. She loves working with families to get through a difficult time. Kayla married her husband, Josh, in 2015, and their daughter, Isla, was born in 2021. When not at work, Kayla spends time at her local thrift store. She also enjoys traveling and journaling.

Zach Curtis

Licensed Funeral Director

As a licensed funeral director in Tennessee, Zach has been with Dogwood Cremation LLC since 2017. He graduated from Pellissippi State Community College in 2017 with an associate degree in science and John A. Gupton College in 2021. Zach is committed to serving customers and his community. He is active with his church on foreign mission trips. He knows people come to him during difficult times and is honored to be part of their grieving process. In his spare time, Zach plays video games, drives his Corvette, and spends time with his family.

Melissa Eagan

Melissa is a licensed funeral director, and certified as a crematory operator in Tennessee. She joined the team at Dogwood Cremation LLC in 2020 and is a graduate of John A. Gupton College in Nashville, TN. She has a passion for serving families after the loss of loved ones with professional cremation services. When she's not working, Melissa spends time with her husband, Pete, and enjoys hiking, fishing, and gardening.
